NSP Donors
Introduction
The National Solidarity Programme (NSP) has relied on funding from a variety of sources, including financing from IDA and JSDF, financing from the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF), which provides funding to NSP from various donors (Australia, Canada, Denmark, EC/EU, Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, UK DFID, UK ARTF, Japan, Czech Republic, Finland,and the United States), and bi-lateral funding, which has come from Norway, Denmark, New Zealand, Switzerland and Netherlands directly to NSP.
Overall the NSP programme budget from the beginning of the programme till the end of NSP Phase II in mid-2010 is an estimated US$929 million.
