Fifteen uplift projects that will enable a growing number of families to get access to basic human needs have lately been completed in Panjshir province.
A press release issued by the National Solidarity Programme of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) said that the projects include the construction of a social center, an 1170-meter canals, water reservoirs and micro hydro powers.
The report adds that the projects were completed in Anaba and Shatal districts of Panjshir province at a cost of AFN 31,690,000, financed by NSP including 10% community contribution. The completion of the projects enabled approximately 4,047 families to gain access to much needed services in the region.
It is worth mentioning that the work of hundreds of other NSP development projects in various districts of Panjshir province is currently in progress.
